If there were a person who could show us what authentic Greek food was all about, Maria would be the one. As the daughter of a well-known produce grocer in San Jose, Maria Vlahopouliotis indulged in her Greek heritage and passion for food by opening Souvlaki Greek Skewers in 2012.
Through Souvlaki Greek Skewers, Maria revives a time and place of when Yia Yia (‘Grandma’) used to cook for all of the grandchildren in her family.
